I haven't been on here in quite a while with a real update, so here we go I am going to give you all you can handle and more.

March 2010

Wishtribe played with Evergreen Terrace on March 20, 2010 at Juanitas. That was a fun show to play even though it was not exactly our style, we still got our name out to a big name band and they dug us. I got to talk to the drummer for a while and we talked about music and Florida because that is where I was planning on going on vacation in May.

April 2010-

From Mid March to The End of April was on Hell of a month and I don't mean that in a positive way at all. I was at home on my day off on a Thursday in April (I think it was March 25). Well, when I woke up I was in immense pain and I could barely breathe, my back was hurting so bad and it was just a really bad bad day. I went through that day really hurting and in pain. I was really scared about my future: job-wise and music-wise
I went to work on March 26, and told my manager I needed to go to the Doctor, he sent me to the Chiropractor. The Doctor said that I have Scoliosis and a curved spine, so this just made the week even MORE fun.
Then on Monday March 29, 2010 marked the 11th anniversary and the same day that I almost died in a car accident, just made that even harder to deal with.

Later in April was the whole Edge Fest Battle to determine who was going to play at the Edge Fest with Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Papa Roach, Bullet For My Valentine, Seether, and More. This was so much fun.......NOT!!!
 Between all the shit that was being talked, and  the losing of some friends it was a bad time, But I did talk to some other people and we were able to be mature about the contest and it wasn't like "I don't think its fair because you played last year and you don't deserve to play this year!!"  Siversa ended up beating us within the last hour of the contest for the Votes: so we (Wishtribe) ended up in the top 10 at least, I was happy with that, we held the number one spot all the way to the last hour and lost it to another very good band. In the end THE VEIL and DARK FROM DAY ONE got to play which was cool either way.

April 15, 2010 Wishtribe played the opening night at Heat Night Club in Scott Arkansas. It wasn't the best turn out and ended up being more of a practice for the band, but it was a 400.00 paying show so it turned out pretty good, other than Kelly's Truck over heating which I felt pretty bad about. After the show we  hung out with Candi her boyfriend and her Sister. Her Sister was SO UBBERLY happy to meet us, it was kind of cool to have someone who was excited to meet you.

April 17, 2010 Wishtribe played a Benefit show for The Make a Wish Foundation at Junaitas, we played with Jessica 7, Attack the Mind Knee Deep. That was a really great show. Troy from Furlow told me that we raised a little over 1,200.00 for the kids and that was awesome. Furlow Entertainment auctioned off an autographed guitar from all the bands for 80.00 to one of Wishtribes very own fans Dave-O.

At the end of April the Annual Toad Suck Daze came around, yay!!
Deidre and I went the first night to go see Skillet I have always wanted to see them they have been one of my favorite bands since I was 17, and also I did some work with their old drummer Trey when he was making videos for Sigler Music in 2008. Skillet was amazing, the weather wasn't. hahahahahahahhaha! I ran into Ashley from Fire To Reason it was really great talking to him I hadn't talked to him since I left the band in 2008, so it was kind of a closure thing for me to actually talk to him, I had told him to be safe on tour when i went to their shows but that was about it.

The next night my mom wanted to go and asked me to come with her because she wanted to spend some time with me and see Clint Black. We get there and I put a Bud Light Lime in a gatorade bottle as my beverege for the show. Right when we get there we see some Thuderstorm clouds coming in and hear some people talking about a tornado warning, (you know that a Tornado warning, and the way that they freak out here about them is like a boy that cries wolf for me everytime they say there is one here or will be it never happens and everyone causes this HUGE hysteria over nothing) So me and my mom just kept walking around on Oak street towards Locust laughing it up because everyone was freaking out.......Then the Tornado Siren started roaring. The people working there that night rounded us all up into the City Hall hoping that the building would be some good enough protection for us. I have never been that freaked out about a tornado, and I think most people who know me well enough can attest to that theory, because of my always saying that I want to see one, but being cooped up in that building with freaked out people can start to make you hysterical yourself, I started to want to tell EVERYONE I know and have ever known "goodbye and I love you". Love is not something that I say very loosely anymore but I was feeling pretty warm inside like I was getting ready to leave this earth, especially when they said that a funnel (that I found out later didn't touch down) came over us.  They ended up cancelling Clint Black so we just walked around till it started raining like a MoFo.

May 2010.

So here we are in May wow already 5 Months into the year. Edge Fest is coming up and Vacation!!

May, 10- On the way down to Edge Fest Deidre and I got Burger King and I got sick on the way to Little Rock while driving and had to pull over on the freeway and throw up, that was great!  The show was amazing, Deidre and I got to hang out with Corey and Jay, we also got to hang out with The Cowboy (Eden Crow) on his bus. I finally got to meet Jeff Cage, he was a really great guy. Didn't get to meet anybody in the bands Security was so tight. There was way too many retarded people there while we were in line to get some food and drinks there was a cat fight which was ruined by the security it could have been great, the worst it could have done was taught them that alcohol and a bad attitude don't mix well, lol. Rob Zombie smoked Godsmack like they were a cigarette I really felt bad for them, no one wants to play after Rob Zombie.

Vacation came around and we ended up not doing any of the things I had initially planned to do: Florida, Texas, Etc. It just all came down to money it really sucks. We went to Hot Springs started our little "get away" at Magic Springs/ Crystal Falls, that was such a fun relaxing day can't wait to go back and do it again. We spent almost all that night trying to find a good hotel to stay and crash at. The next day we went to the mall and got me some new black connies and Deidre a new bathing suit. We walked along the Hot Springs Strip and just tried to have some fun before we were going to leave and return to life as we know it again the next day even though I was really looking forward to coming back because I was going to be trying out for Siversa and Wishtribe was going to be in the studio with Tina that weekend. That day we hung out with Josh Hulgan he was a really great guys he was funny as fuck! Later on that night we went on the Haunted Tours and saw some of the places that are Haunted in Hot Springs, that can definitely make a believer out of you, after that we decided to go dig deeper into the whole thing and try to see a ghost on West Hill as we were going up the hill the car started shorting out and we freaked out so we turned around. We figured we would try something else to get someone we didn't even know just to tell us what they felt when they stood in front of the locations, that was a funny event. This random guy comes out of the Parking structure and I pull up to him and tell him can he do me a favor, and he was like it depends. I tell him what I needed him to do and to just follow us and he was kind of weary, but eventually he ended up going to the location. We asked him what did he feel and he told us that he felt really weird, and he started freaking out asking us if we were ghosts or something. Poor guy he is coming from New York just to get away and we freak him out, Lol.

5/25/10 I got home I went to try out with Siversa in Little Rock today. After only having the CD for a week to hear every song I was really nervous. Jimi and Jon were there and we talked a little then we played through "Numb The Pain" after we were done everybody was excited. We then went through "Lost Woods" and "Be a Man". Try outs went really well and we all hit it off great. Jimi and Jon are great guys looking forward to seeing Ian and Justin again. I used to share the stage with Ians old (At Our Finest) band when I was in Fire To Reason back in 2007, so it should be great!!

5/30/2010 Wishtribe was in the studio with Tina today the interview will be on the radio tonight. I talked to the guys about Siversa and that I am going to try and make both bands work. Gemini and I had a talk I told him that I am going to just take it as it goes I want to finish the Wishtribe Cd and see where we are then. We debuted 2012 live on the radio tonight that is more than likely the first single off the new Cd. I have another paractice with Siversa tonight then its off to the River Market to do some promoting and listen to some LUDA!! See Ya!!
